Babangida Alhaji Sabo
MANAGING DIRECTORMr. Sabo retired from the services of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in September 2018, as a Director, after having served for 28 years. While in the Bank, Mr. Sabo held many positions including, Chief Risk Officer, Head of External Funds Management Office, as well as Associate Head, Quantitative Analysis & Performance Management Division in the Reserves Management Department.
Mr. Sabo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He has attended numerous courses on finance and investments at leading institutions and business schools. He has passed the level 2 CFA examination and currently undertaking MBA Finance Programme.
Over the period of his career, he has helped some central banks in Africa build capacity in reserves management.
Folake Bankole
CFAA finance professional and strategist fueled by curiosity, excellence and innovation, formerly the Chief Financial Officer at Sigma Pensions Limited, one of the top Pension Fund Administrators in Nigeria. She joined Sigma Pensions when Actis PE fund acquired the company through the investment company Actis Golf. She work closely with the Board and was also responsible for the financial management of Actis Golf.
She started her career in the Treasury Department of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and have since worked with several leading financial institutions including the Central Bank of Nigeria and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her experience in the financial services industry covers auditing, financial control & analysis, performance management, securities trading, financial reporting, corporate finance and business strategy.
She currently serves as the Treasurer of the CFA Society Nigeria, a position she aspired to because of her dedication to building knowledge in the financial services sector. Folake has been providing financial training for over 7 years, including tutoring candidates for the CFA examination.
She has trained 500+ staff of a major central bank in the West African region for the CFA examination.
Bukola Akerele
CFA, CIPM, FRM, FCABukola is a portfolio manager (credit and business development), at Zenith Bank Plc. She holds a Master in Business Administration, specializing in business in emerging markets from the University of Liverpool. She is vast in the field of finance and holds the CFA Charter and FRM Certification. She is proficient in managing people and analyzing credit and financial risk. Bukola has been providing financial training for over 15 years, including tutoring candidates for the CFA and FRM examination. She has trained 500+ staff of a major central bank in the West African region for the CFA examination.
